Songs and rules for Drive-in service

If you are coming to the service there are a few things you need to know.
1. The service is at 11 AM (not at 10 as is our usual time)

2. When you get there turn your radio to 88.1 FM.

3.We are also going to sing 2 songs: Because He lives and Victory in Jesus. The words are attached as a word file and I have also listed the words at the end of the email.

4. Remember to stay in your cars.

We look forward to a wonderful day together as we worship our risen Lord.

Because He lives

God sent His son, they called Him Jesus

He came to love, heal and forgive

He lived and died to buy my pardon

An empty grave is there to prove my savior lives

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow

Because He lives, all fear is gone

Because I know He holds the future

And life is worth the living, just because He lives

How sweet to hold a newborn baby

And feel the pride and joy He gives

But greater still the calm assurance

This child can face uncertain day, because He lives

And then one day, I’ll cross the river

I’ll fight life’s final war with pain

And then, as death gives way to victory

I’ll see the lights of glory and I’ll know He reigns

Victory In Jesus

I heard an old, old story, How a Savior came from glory,

How He gave His life on Calvary To save a wretch like me;

I heard about His groaning, Of His precious blood’s atoning,

Then I repented of my sins And won the victory.

O victory in Jesus, My Savior, forever.

He sought me and bought me

With His redeeming blood;

He loved me ere I knew Him

And all my love is due Him,

He plunged me to victory,

Beneath the cleansing flood.

I heard about His healing, Of His cleansing pow’r revealing.

How He made the lame to walk again And caused the blind to see;

And then I cried, “Dear Jesus, Come and heal my broken spirit,”

And somehow Jesus came and bro’t To me the victory.

I heard about a mansion He has built for me in glory.

And I heard about the streets of gold Beyond the crystal sea;

About the angels singing, And the old redemption story,

And some sweet day I’ll sing up there The song of victory.
